Graphic Design

Designing new logos is a favorite aspect of digital design. Logos are a story-telling tool. They may be direct and unambiguous, telling the viewer exactly what the company does. Or they may only produce a feeling without being overt. Either way, the must be recognizable.

The following logos are examples of the ability to follow a style guide, and original design skills.

Arizona Diamondbacks
Golf Tournament

When using established style guides,
it’s important to follow them to the letter.
This was no different when designing an
advertisement for a charity golf tournament,
hosted by MLB team the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Diamondbacks have a licensed logo and colors,
but do not have a licensed typeface. It was my
responsibility to make this advert immediately
recognizable as a Diamondbacks affiliated event.

Evergreen Organization

I designed this logo for the generic company for which I created a training program and presentation. Evergreen Org had no established style guide which allowed for open creativity. Click the logo to see the Evergreen Org presentation on the Manuals and Procedures page.

Food Security

The Food Security logo was designed as part of a presentation proposing a food pantry in the Tempe, AZ area. The logo tells a clear story addressing food insecurity. Click the logo to see the Food Security presentation on the Memorandums and Proposals Page.

Stern Designs

I designed this logo to be clean, simple, and “green” like the aesthetics of Julia Stern’s interior design. The logo correlates with the website design proposal for Stern Designs. Click the logo to see the Stern Designs website proposal on the Web Design page.
